SARA J (DIVISION I SOCCER PLAYER) This has been my third year attending Crull Fitness and it has made a major impact on me both on and off the field. Coach Crull and his staff have done a phenomenal job training me and doing their best to make sure I am getting the most out of my workouts and having fun at the same time! The environment at Crull Fitness is very welcoming and at the same time is a place to focus and work hard. Coach Crull has a great relationship with his athletes; he pushes me out of my comfort zone as well as giving me positive reinforcement. I always enjoy working out here because I know it is a place where I can become a better athlete and person. I’ve put in a lot of time at Crull Fitness and I have definitely seen an improvement in my soccer game, my confidence, and my physical and mental strength. MELISSA ROBINETT (VOLLEYBALL PLAYER AND COACH) I had pretty much stopped working out after I finished playing volleyball in college and I also had surgery on my shoulder that did not rehabilitate well. When I decided to get back in shape, Crull Fitness helped me a lot. Not only did I get stronger and faster, but the trainers helped me understand how to be stronger and faster on the court. I noticed a big difference when I played. I was able to close blocks quicker and hit the ball harder. The trainers set a goal for me that got higher every week, keeping me challenged and enthusiastic about working out again. Thanks, Crull Fitness! Earned Honorable Mention All-Southland Conference • Named to the Southland Conference All-Tournament Team • Led the Mavericks with 138 total blocks, while averaging 1.22 per game • Put up three or more block assists in 23 of UTA’s matches this year • Collected a season high seven block assists vs. Louisiana-Monroe and again vs. Lamar in the SLC championship match • Recorded 14 double-digit kill matches • Hit .519 (15-1-27) in semifinals of SLC tournament vs. McNeese State • Slammed a season high 18 kills at Nicholls State on October 25. Melissa is currently in Europe pursuing her dream of playing professional volleyball. RUBEN S (TENNIS PLAYER) Crull Fitness has been a great influence on my overall tennis abilities. Because of Crull I have become quicker and stronger so that I am able to perform more efficiently and play longer. Crull has also taught me discipline to stay focused and not be distracted by things that are happening around me. Crull is a great addition to anyone’s fitness. LUKE BELTRAND (JUNIOR A HOCKEY PLAYER) Coach Crull has helped me a lot this year, I have gotten faster and stronger on and off the ice. I have also learned about the importance of stretching and nutrition. What to eat drink and what vitamins to take. In working out, Coach has shown me tons of different workouts for the same muscle in order to help define it. He is also fun when we do another sport like football or soccer. Well that’s what Coach Crull has done for me. One thing I like about Coach Crull is that he knows what he is teaching. BRAD C. (HOCKEY PLAYER) Coach Crull has helped me to become more successful in everything to fit my hockey lifestyle. He has taught me about the nutrition a hockey player needs through his program. He also talks to me about the hockey skills I need to work on. He inspires and motivates me to become better and train to get better. He lets me know what muscles I need to work on to help me accomplish my goals in hockey that I tell him. Also when I get hurt he teaches me the stretches that I need for that certain muscle. Coach Crull is an awesome coach because he teaches me everything I need to know about hockey and we have become friends through his help. ROBERT L. (HOCKEY PLAYER) Coach Crull is the best. He is the nicest guy that you would ever want to meet. You can ask him anything. He has taught me the proper way to lift weights to become stronger and has improved endurance and agility. He has encouraged proper eating habits and good nutrition. Coach Crull always has a smile on his face and is always laughing. He maintains a positive attitude on and off the ice. Thanks Coach Crull. PM 2006 TAPPS 6A Tennis Singles Champion Crull Fitness has done so much for me in the past years. Since I have had problems with my back, Coach Crull or any of the staff, for that matter, don\'t mind staying after hours to help me stretch out. This year in my final match, at state, it went to a third set. I had never defeated my opponent. She is going off to Notre Dame on a tennis scholarship. I could tell she was tired, but I felt good, so I just hung in there and won. Thank you Crull Fitness for everything you have done!
